Karl Grammer

    Karl Grammer is a scientific director of the Ludwig Boltzman Institute for Urban Ethology (Vienna). He is most known on his research on the ethology of sexual behavior. This research was, in particular, summarized in his book Signals of Love: The Biological Lows of Partnership (in German, 1993). Now the new enlarged edition of this book is about to be published. Currently Professor Karl Grammer is researching the human communication at subliminal levels. Since 1992 he served as a secretary of International Society for Human Ethology. On the 1st Siberian Indian Summer School on Human Ethology (Novosibirsk) he gave the lectures entitled Darwinian Aesthetics and the Evolution of Human Form, Body Motion and Non Verbal Communication, and The Role of Pheromones in Human Reproduction.

On the upcoming school he will give the talks on Dynamic Systems in Human Communication, The Role of Pheromones in Human Reproduction, and Darwinian Aesthetics and Beauty.
